Review and Disclosure Policies
REVIEW POLICY
On Wednesdays, We Wear Polish is PR friendly! This blog is open to reviewing nail polish, beauty related products, or other items that are in line with the content of this blog. If you are a company that wishes to submit your product for review, please contact Cassandra at OnWednesdaysWeWearPolish@gmail.com
Receipt of a product does not constitute a contract for a published review of the product. Receipt of a product does not guarantee a favorable review. I will always provide an honest review of the product and provide my opinion on my blog. Please keep in mind that the content of reviews cannot be edited or preapproved by PR representatives or brands. PR representatives or brands that wish to impose such limitations will not be accepted for review.

For Brands:
If you have a specific release date or need my review published by a specific time, please let me know in advance! Typically, my turn around time is one week after I receive your product, although this may change based on how busy I am. Therefore, letting me know when you need the review by, helps me plan around your schedule and post the review when it’s most beneficial for you. If possible, after mailing out a product you would like me to review, please provide me with an estimate of when the product will arrive (a tracking number would be ideal). I will let you know when I receive your product to avoid confusion.
And finally, please provide me with as much information about your product as you can! How much is it? Where can readers purchase it? Do you have a specific description of your product? The more information you give me, the better I can showcase your product. If a product is provided for review, I will also let you use the watermarked photos in your store or website as long as you provide a link back to this blog.
*Please note that I do not accept mini or sample sizes for review. I find that sample sizes can be difficult to work with and that regular sized bottles photograph better than sample size bottles.
On Wednesdays, We Wear Polish also offers advertising space for products that fit with the content of this website. On Wednesdays, We Wear Polish will only advertise for brands/companies that the blog owner believes in and fully endorses. Please contact me for more details.
You can contact me at OnWednesdaysWeWearPolish@gmail.com with any questions or for more information.

DISCLOSURE POLICY
This policy is valid from 27 January 2015 to the present
For Readers:
On Wednesdays, We Wear Polish is a personal blog written, edited, and maintained by me. All of the opinions expressed on this blog are my own. My opinions are 100% honest and are in no way influenced by affiliates, advertisers, brands or PR companies.
For questions about this blog, please contact OnWednesdaysWeWearPolish@gmail.com
This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. Further, I will and do accept and keep free products, services, travel opportunities, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. The compensation received will never influence the review a product receives, the content, topics or posts made in this blog. If I have a poor experience with a product or do not like a product, you will know about it.
The majority of polishes/products on this blog were purchased by me with my own money. However, in the event that an item is sent to me for review, all items received from brands or PR representatives will be disclosed at the beginning of each post containing items that were sent for review. In addition, as a benefit to the reader, I sometimes provides links (typically in white) to the products I talk about/use in my posts (nail stamping plates, 3D nail art, specific polishes or brands/companies, etc.). However, the majority of these links are NOT affiliate links (a special URL that contains the name of the affiliate so that the advertiser can track all of traffic the affiliate sends to the advertiser's site). These links are present to provide the reader with easy access to a product, should they choose to research the product further or purchase it for themselves. I do not benefit from these links in any way, financially or otherwise. The links are simply there to be helpful to the reader. However, just as with products received from brands or PR representatives, if an affiliate link is present within one of my posts, this information will be disclosed at the beginning of the post containing the affiliate link.
You may see the following labels at the beginning of a post to help you identify how I received a product. Typically these labels will be present in posts directed at reviewing a product and not posts specifically showcasing nail art, since the focus will be the art/technique and not the polishes used.
Press Sample - I received this item for free or at a discounted rate from a brand or PR representative. I have been given this item so that I can test it and provide my audience with an honest review of my experience with the product. Trust me, if I don’t like it, you’re gonna hear about it.
Gift - I received this item as a gift.
Purchased By Me - I purchased this item myself with my own money. Being that so much of what I post about I purchase myself, I will typically say something like, “I purchased this polish during a sale..." within the post, instead of including this label.
Prize - I won this item in a giveaway or contest.
Affiliate Link - This means the post contains links that contain a personalized code for me. If you click on this link and/or purchase a product using one of my affiliate links, I will receive a small percentage of what you purchase.
* If multiple labels are present within one post, it means that some products might have been gifts/won, and/or press samples, and/or purchased myself.*
........................................................................................................................................
Please remember that I always promise to give my honest opinion in regards to reviewed items. Further, please remember that my personal experience with a product may differ from yours. Therefore, I cannot be held be held responsible for problems you may encounter if you choose to try a product that I have used/reviewed.
Again, the views and opinions expressed on this blog are 100% my own. I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on my experience, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
